Getting Started
Your Journey to Becoming a Foster Parent

Complete Pre-Service Training
Attend our state-approved training sessions covering child development, trauma-informed care, behavior management, and Nevada foster care requirements.
Background Checks & Home Study
Complete required background screenings and participate in a home study to ensure a safe, nurturing environment for children in your care.
Licensing & Certification
Once training, background checks, and the home study are complete, you'll receive your foster care license from the state of Nevada.
Ongoing Support & Training
Our relationship doesn't end at certification. Receive in-home visits, continuing education, and access to our clinical services as you begin your foster care journey.
